Welcome to the AIME 2019 website.

The AIME 2019 conference will be held in Poznan, Poland on June 26-29, 2019.  As previous AIME conferences (from Pavia in 1985 to Vienna in 2017) it will be a unique opportunity to present significant theoretical, methodological and applied results related to the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine.

AIME 2019 will include two invited lectures, full and short papers, tutorials, workshops, and a doctoral consortium.

Registration fees are the same as for the last AIME conference:

Registration is handled by a conference management system (called Coffee). Please note a tentative selection made when creating an account can be changed later by logging into the system and checking on/off specific options (i.e., it is possible to choose tutorials at a later time). Currently, only payments via bank transfers are supported - detailed information including the bank name, account number and transfer title are given on the Billing and Invoices / Billing summary - bank transfer data tab (the transfer title should be kept as provided by the system for easier identification of a payment). Payments with credit cards should be enabled soon.

Participants of the Doctoral Consortium, tutorial and workshop chairs are kindly asked to register normally choosing corresponding events - their fees will be waived (please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for this).

Such letters do not imply any financial support, nor offer a guarantee of obtaining a Polish visa but are intended to fulfill formal requirements imposed on visitors from certain countries.

Student Travel Grants

We will offer 6-8 travel grants to students who are authors of accepted papers (full or short) and will present their work during the AIME 2019 conference. Each grant will cover travel costs of up to € 450 (if these costs are lower than € 450, then the actual amount will be covered). Preference will be given to students not participating in the Doctoral Consortium (the later will be provided participation grants). Moreover, we will take into account the quality of submitted papers as indicated by the reviews. The submission of applications will be possible until April 30, decisions will be announced in early May, and grants will be awarded during the conference. Applicants should send the title of their accepted paper, a formal proof of their student status and an electronic copy or scan of tickets via e-mail to Szymon Wilk.
